Ensemble La Silva Met Membra Jesu Nostri

In the Membra Jesu Nostri (1680) by Bach's great example Dietrich Buxtehude, the body parts of the crucified Christ are sung from toe to head. The international Ensemble La Silva is responsible for the performance, which is interwoven with matching pieces by Bach and Pileggi. A choreography of dancers and walking singers expresses the spiritual unity of music and text.
