Gamelanensemble Global Gongs

The Orgelpark receives the Global Gongs ensemble. The concert is worth seeing for the theatrical arrangement of forty gongs alone. With Global Gongs, founder Sinta Wullur presents minimal music inspired by non-Western music. The program includes classics and their sources of inspiration such as Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield, in C by Terry Riley and works by Philip Glass and Steve Reich.
