Mi Corazón

Mi Corazón showcases new tango compositions and new arrangements. On the Verschueren organ and Sauer organ Aart Bergwerff exposes a broad spectrum of tangos: twelve compositions written by six composers from different stilistic periods. Specifically for this occasion pianist Jeroen van Veen composed his Minimal Prelude nr.60/Tango for Organ and composer Klaas de Vries recomposed his four tangos for voice and organ, sung by mezzo-soprano Gerrie de Vries. Jan Raas’ Tango for Mineke was recorded by Aart Bergwerff. He also made arrangements of the tangos from Astor Piazzolla and Igor Stravinsky.
